The show in February 2000 was reviewed by Pittsburgh Weekly who commented “...Bolock’s “Super Model in a Fourth Dimension” is at times erotic, abstract, religious and academic” as well as “… a refreshingly unique vision - one part Norman Rockwell, one part “Black Hole Sun” video..”. The show in August 2001 was reviewed by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review who said “.. Bolock’s odd juxtapositions create a jovial experience when viewing these paintings ..formalism is not an issue here as the message overrides the medium” and “ He’s at his best with these quirky combinations. In “Last Cup’ he has painted the exterior of Tuscany Cafe. In the window, Einstein, Jesus and Socrates can be seen sipping lattes as the Angel of Death walks by with his cup of joe”. His most current show “ Beauty and the Machine” was at Artist gallery Royale in St. Petersburg FL October 2007.
